CPA Ontario is pleased to announce improvements to the preparatory course semester schedule.
Effective Semester 3 (Summer 2017), all core and non-core preparatory courses will be offered every semester, allowing you more flexibility when planning your education pathway.
In addition, the five semester schedule will be reduced to four semesters, which will allow you to receive your previous course examination results prior to the next enrolment period.
Finally, all semester end dates will now align with the start dates of the CPA PEP Core 1 module, creating a seamless transition into the program.
Note: The first two semesters of the 2017 CPA preparatory course schedule will remain the same.
The 2017 preparatory course semester schedule is as follows:
For more information about course enrolment and examination dates, please see the 2017 CPA preparatory course schedule.
For aspiring accountants who are lacking some or all of the prerequisites required for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP), the preparatory courses allow you to gain the prerequisite subject
area coverage needed for admission to the CPA PEP.
Delivered on a part-time basis to offer students maximum flexibility and accessibility, the preparatory courses are offered through online or classroom learning. Students complete only those courses they require.
The preparatory courses are currently offered in four semesters each year.
